5 stars!! Originally was bummed to not get the dated journal. However, I appreciate the lunar new year vibes and setting my intentions on the date of my choice. I love that I can just pull this book out and use it like a journal. I don’t need to worry about the date I can just start a reading and jot down all my thoughts in one place. It still has a monthly check in, should I choose to use it and all the info pages in the front like the dated planner- but small enough to travel with or keep one on my desk. Also has a pocket in the back and complimentary stickers, like they have in the bigger planner. Great for beginners and advanced readers alike.

I was excited to see yet another iteration of the Undated book, as I had loved the previous incarnation that came with different color covers. That version felt like the 'nearly perfect' version to me, so I was excited to see what this updated hardcover version would be like.
I hate to say it has been lackluster.
The hardcover of the journal is silky and decadent, so if you are a tactile sensory person like I am, you will either love running your hands across its surface or hate it. I personally love it. It came with a plastic divider that was broken, and it honestly feels so cheap that it probably should have been left out. There is a back pocket as well, but it won't get much use from me as it feels fragile and won't be hard to accidentally rip it at some point. I do think the inclusion of the two tarot sticker sheets is a nice touch and a good use for the pocket. I wish the pocket didn't feel like it was two seconds away from ripping off the back cover. It's a great idea, just the wrong sort of pocket.
As for the journal itself, not much new has been injected into it. I miss the coloring pages that came with the previous incarnation of the journal, as they added whimsy and fun to the book, giving me another reason to visit the pages throughout my week. The dot-grid pages are still too big for it to ever feel comfortable using, as I prefer a smaller dot size. I wish the monthly tarot card tracker that is new to the 2026 planner had been included here, as it would've…

This is a high quality, user friendly tarot journal for both novice and experienced readers. It’s beautiful, functional, and I will undoubtedly order another once all of the pages are filled. I especially enjoy the suggested 3 card spreads, birth chart, and self love check-in pages, as well.
